Our Implementation
Medicon Series is an initiative by Kread Foundation to promote professional medical education across CIS, GCC and SAARC countries. The Foundation runs multiple initiatives of which, this initiative is specifically funded for conducting live surgical workshops in CIS, GCC and SAARC. Currently the foundation has learning centers in Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Tashkent and India and plan to have 10 more, covering other countries in the region. Entire implementation of Medicon Series including technology, Server resources and back-office is done by Watchwitz Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
These centers are appointed with the help of the Indian embassies and the Department of health’s of all nations and are endorsed, by the health authorities, Indian Embassies and Local Associations to ensure credibility, participation and seriousness of the initiative. Credit points have also been awarded in all the countries where it is mandatory.
It is our pleasure to let you know, that under this initiative by Kread Foundation, The 1st conference on “Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery” was successfully held on 8th Jan 2015. This one day conference, on 8th, was seen live by 650 surgeons as delegates in Kread Foundation’s learning centers across these countries. They were connected live and interactively to world renowned surgeons of India who were teaching centers for the 1st conference.

Medical Fraternity in Continual Medical Education Grants (MFCME) is an initiative by Kread Foundation designed to help the Medical experts in Showcasing their Expertise and Skills with the help of technology, designed and developed by WatchWitz Technologies Pvt. Ltd. To expand knowledge and experience of medical fraternity by showcasing the infrastructure skill involved in a Surgery/Procedure and relative medical information, using technology designed developed under the guidance and funding of Science and Technology Park, which is Promoted by the department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
The efforts of KREAD FOUNDATION in Medical Education have been recognized by Indian Medical Association (IMA) & Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC). In last one year we have successfully executed:
Looking at the requirements and limitations in the medical fraternity to spread specialized education to fellow doctors or upcoming doctors there was need of a platform through which this all of this could be obtained. MFCME is platform which not only is useful to teach fellow doctors or students but also can be used to diagnose & treat patients without being bothered of the geographical limitations.
Under this initiative we gave 30 Grant installations to different engineering and management campuses, who now act as nodal institutes to their vicinity whenever we deliver lectures or any content. Although colleges such as VJTI, Colleges from the symbiosis group of Institutions, Pune, DY Patil Pune, MIT Pune etc, are a part of this initiative, 80% of the colleges are in rural areas, and now receive the best speakers / teachers of the discipline, delivered at their doorstep through this virtual classroom system.
Speakers like Dr Arun Nigavekar – Ex UGC chairperson and founder member of the STP; Dr Govind Swaroop and Dr Alyque Padamsee, both Padmashrees; Dr Shashi Tharoor and Mr Prahlad Kakkar, both the best in their respective trades; Mr Prashant Ahir, Mr Sharad Gangal, Mr Rajesh Purushottam, Mr Sudhakar Panda all from HR departments of the companies like Tata Motors, Thermax, Sterlite and Fiat; and many such eminent &prolific speakers have delivered their experiences for the benefit of these students. Companies like Tata Motors, Sterlite, Fiat and Thermax have benefitted from this initiative, by hiring virtually through 30 members in an addition with 18 vicinity campuses throughout Maharashtra.
